As we all know, Pippa and Kate have an incredible sense of style. Whether dressed up or down we are intrigued. Often, the same dress, shoe and hat, is either a different color or accessorized in a classic yet fresh look. When comparing both, you’ll find that Pippa’s wardrobe is more sporty and wearable for everyday use. While Kate’s lifestyle calls for a more formal wardrobe, we all wait for those moments when she shows up in another beautiful design by Temperley, Erdem, McQueen, Jenny Packham or Catherine Walker. Both sisters never fail to inspire us!
Kate and Pippa wore Issa London often back in 2011-2012. They both wore the brands “Forever” dress as it was named at the time. Kate made it the iconic “Engagement” dress by wearing it to announcement the engagement.
Pippa wore a Lock and Co. hat to attend Christmas Day Service at Sandringham. The fur hats are often sold at country attire boutiques and specialty hat shops in London.
Many will recognize that Kate wore the same hat to the Cheltenham Gold Cup in 2006.
Katherine Hooker coats have been a firm favorite of the sisters. Kate’s worn her “Contrast” coat since 2006. It’s a timeless, classic silhouette that Katherine keeps repeating in different fabrics and colors.
Below, Kate wearing Hooker’s “Alexander” jacket.
In Dec. 2011, Pippa wore the “Contrast” coat to a friend’s wedding in Suffolk in a different fabric than Kate’s, once again making it her own.
Kate wore the coat again in 2011, this time with an updated, shorter hem.
Most recently, Pippa wore Emmy London “Rebecca” heels and a clutch to Wimbledon. Emmy has been a firm favorite for the Middleton women for many years. They love their suede clutches and matching shoes that perfectly compliments any outfit.
Kate wore the same style and color in Belgium.
The style comes in an array of colors and is also available bespoke if you need a specific color or half size.
Kate and Pippa didn’t wear the same gown but I wanted to mention the similarities in the style and design. Pippa’s wedding gown is absolutely breathtaking. It reminds me of Kate’s but in the style of an English country wedding.
Below is a look at Pippa’s bouquet. Both sisters chose similar designs.
Below, both sisters stop for photos before entering the church. Note how similar their stance is.
