Wimbledon is on fire this week and the Middleton women have certainly inspired our fashion trends, as always. My favorite look so far is Pippa on Day 7. Her Tephi London dress was fresh, sophisticated and elegant. It received great feedback from the media, the Huff Post called it the ‘perfect summer dress.’ I’ve seen a lot of women in NYC embracing this off-shoulder trend with dresses and tops.
Tephi London is a new boutique brand founded by Chessie Grievson. The designer studied at Central Saint Martins and worked for Temperley London (a brand loved by Kate and Pippa) before starting her own business. She mentioned, “I was so surprised and happy to see her (Pippa) in it. She looked wonderful. It’s such a flattering shape and the colour looked great. I felt really proud to see her in one of my designs.” via the Telegraph.
This design fits her perfectly. I am sure we’ll be seeing a lot more Tephi London in the future. Below is a more detailed look at the ‘Rome‘ dress. The style comes in a pale green color and coral. The dress is one of seven designs in Grievson’s first ready-to-wear collection. It retails for $515 and remains available in size XS-M.
Pippa wore a new pair of white sandals by Hush Puppies. Their ‘Molly Malia’ sandals come in an array of colors. The white color is currently unavailable as of this writing. I will update the post if we receive more information from the brand. Pippa has mentioned how she likes to wear comfortable shoes to Wimbledon. She favors wedges usually, so this is a new style for her.
Pippa’s white leather clutch is by CH Carolina Herrera. This exact style is no longer available.
Pippa wore her Zanzan Eyewear ‘Apache‘ sunglasses again, they retail for $270.
Carole aced Day 9 in a pretty Rumour London embroidered dress. This dress ($338) sold out very quickly but a size XS is left here. I adore this shade of blue, it really compliments her sun kissed glow. There are more sizes in stock on the Rumour London website.
This style reminds me of Kate’s McQueen dress worn during the Canada 2016 tour.
Carole accessorized with a blush pink Osprey London ‘Cartmel‘ bag. It’s reduced to £395.
Pippa and James Matthews, Carole and Michael Middleton and brother James all attended Wimbledon Day 11 to watch Roger Federer vs Marin Cilic.
Pippa wore the ‘Neil’ dress from Étoile Isabel Marant. I adore this dress and the style. It reminds me of Beulah but more boho. I love the fact that you can wear it into the cooler months with knee or ankle boots. It’s great to see Pippa wearing so many new designers!
NAP says that Isabel Marant ensures she personally tries on every item in her studio before it goes into production – she wants each design to work for everyday life.
The ‘Neil‘ dress is from the A/W 2016 Collection. Originally, it retailed for $490.00.
Best part is that it’s now an extra 20% off! Yay! Discount applied at checkout.
Pippa also wore a new Aspinal of London ‘Portobello‘ saddle bag in navy. I love how versatile this style is. Can be more dressed up or down with a pair of jeans.
Many thanks to @KateMCambridge for finding the dress.
As of this writing, we are still working to find Pippa’s new wedge sandals. I will update the post when we do.
Jess Collett mentioned on her Instagram that Pippa wore her fedora hat. The ‘JCM Pippa Roll Up‘ is now available to purchase on her website for £138.00. All of JCM hats are handmade. Madonna and Rita Ora are also fans of the brand.
Pippa also wore the designer’s bespoke £360 ‘Rosa‘ fascinator.
For the Wimbledon Finals, Kate opted for a floral poppy print Catherine Walker dress. Many thanks to Lauren P. for finding this dress. She accessorized with Bvlgari sunglasses and a Victoria Beckham ‘Quincy’ tote, now sold out. View a very similar style here.
These shoes are really comfortable, a lot of women in NYC have been wearing this style since the brand launched it. It comes in an array of colors, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see Kate wear the navy or black suede versions.
We rarely see Pippa wear a maxi dress so this is a pleasant surprise. I can’t tell you how much I love seeing these sisters wearing new designers and embracing the fashion trends in the right way. Kate and Pippa always choose items that never go out of style. I feel like both sisters have had a style evolution from previous years at Wimbledon.
Pippa chose a gorgeous Weekend Max Mara voile cotton dress. It retails for $895.00. I adore this dress! The dress has an open back detail, frill neckline and peplum frill detail at the waist. It’s made of 76% cotton, 24% silk; Lining: 100% cotton; Lace in: 100% polyester.
Pippa wore another style by Zanzan, her new go to brand for eyewear. I love their styles!
Pippa accessorized with a green Tory Burch ($295) ‘Robinson’ bag. This color is no longer available. View it in black here.
Pippa wore LK Bennett wedges. I am told the style was from about five years ago. There was one pair for sale on eBay.
I also like the ‘Litya‘ (right) style which is now reduced to $172.50.
Today’s match was both emotional and historical, I enjoyed it immensely. It was great to see William and Kate cheering Roger Federer to his victory.
Below is a video of William and Kate congratulating Roger after his historic win.
Daily Express article is here.
Below is a video posted on my Instagram that I took (from my TV) of W&K leaving. ?
